Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Controls Engineer for a 3-month project to assist in the commissioning phase of a Greenfield project.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, control panels, and I/Os.
• Troubleshooting HMIs (Wonderware), AVEVA Intouch.
• Completing documentation and check sheets, using provided templates to list all I/Os and track project progress.

Essential Skills

• 4 years of experience in commissioning and programming in an industrial setting.
• 4 years of troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with process backgrounds such as Wastewater, O&G, F&B, and Sawmills, with exposure to conveyor systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong programming abilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
• Attention to detail, especially in completing check sheets accurately.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Surrey,BC.
