Job Title: Cost Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cost Manager to oversee the procurement and tendering process, prepare contractual documentation, and control costs during the construction process. The successful candidate will manage the commercial success of projects, value construction work for interim payments, value changes, assess or compile claims for loss and expense, and agree on final accounts. Additionally, you will develop capital budgets and forecasts for new business project portfolios, utilizing financial and operational models, and compile and interpret financial and non-financial information to determine past performance, project future results, and identify trends to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement and tendering process
• Prepare contractual documentation
• Control costs during the construction process
• Manage the commercial success of a project for a contractor
• Value construction work for interim payments, value changes, assess or compile claims for loss and expense, and agree on final accounts
• Develop capital budgets and forecasts for new business project portfolios
• Compile and interpret financial and non-financial information to determine past performance, project future results, and identify trends

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management)
• 5 years of experience in cost control for EPC projects
• Experience with projects ranging from $200,000 to $1 million in budget
• Proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, Xlookup, match, pivot tables)
• Experience working with Oracle ERP/SAP

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred experience in the energy sector
• Experience in estimation, forecasting, cost management, and financial analysis
• Knowledge of Bluebeam and Procore

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $72.16
