Job Description

Using independent judgment, the CT Technologist performs a wide-range of CT imaging procedures. The role involves assisting physicians and providing essential patient care during imaging procedures, exercising professional judgment in the performance of all CT procedures, and applying the principles of teamwork in all aspects of patient services. Additionally, the CT Technologist assists new employees and students in training as needed and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures
• Assist physicians and provide essential patient care during imaging procedures
• Exercise professional judgment in the performance of all CT procedures
• Apply the principles of teamwork in all aspects of providing patient services
• Assist in training new employees and students as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Skills

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in good standing
• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program
• Valid/Eligible State of Connecticut Radiographer License
• Previous CT scan experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced ARRT Certificate in Computed Tomography or eligibility to sit for boards
• Experience with GE CT scanners, AW workstations, and Medrad injectors preferred
• Epic experience
• Knowledge of Google Drive and Google Spreadsheets
• CPR certification
• AS/BS degree
• Good work ethic, integrity, and professional communication skills
• Dependability and work schedule flexibility

Work Environment

Working at Marlborough Medical Center with a third shift schedule of 32 hours per week. The schedule includes a weekend rotation every other weekend, a holiday rotation of 3 holidays a year (2 major/1 minor, always 11pm-7am), and a weekday rotation as follows: Week 1: Mon-Wed, Sat; Week 2: Sun, Wed-Fri; Week 3: Mon-Wed, Sat; Week 4: Sun, Wed-Fri

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $126000.00/yr.
