Job Title: Customer Service Associate

This position requires on-site presence from Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm. The Quality Assurance and Analytical Laboratories department is comprised of talented individuals who possess a genuine love for pets and their families. As a Customer Service Associate, you will facilitate customer service requests and enter submitted data samples into the laboratory information management system (LIMS).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for internal and external customer service inquiries.
• Manage customer samples/project needs and serve as a liaison between customers and laboratory personnel.
• Prioritize and manage submitted samples to ensure timely processing.
• Assist customers in obtaining analytical data.
• Receive submitted samples and service requests.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of related work experience.
• 2 years of experience in a customer service and/or administrative role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree specifically in a scientific or related field is preferred.
• 1 year of professional or academic experience in a science or laboratory-related field is preferred.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
• Previous experience in data entry.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both lab and office settings. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. You will be using technologies such as LIMS and working with biology, chemistry, and data entry. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to handle lifting tasks of 30-50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
