Job Title: Detection Engineer

Job Description

This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security with AWS, SIEM/EDR, strong Python, and threat modeling of Cloud Services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced detection strategies to identify and mitigate security threats.
• Utilize SIEM and EDR tools to monitor and analyze security events.
• Conduct threat modeling to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and incident response capabilities.
• Participate in hands-on screening during the interview process to demonstrate technical proficiency.

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience in cloud security.
• Proficiency with SIEM and EDR tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python for integration and automation.
• Expertise in threat modeling and risk assessment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
