Digital design lead/Rendering Lead
Description
The DDL will be responsible for design and enhance existing designs by improving visualization and workflow efficiency. This role will work closely with project teams and Studio Directors to refine and optimize 3D models and rendering processes. The Digital Design Lead will also be able to create lifelike visual representations (2D and 3D) of architectural designs, using Rhino software to illustrate how a space or building will look before it is built, accurately representing the design intent.
• Utilize 3D modeling and rendering software, primarily Rhino, to produce high-quality digital images and animations of buildings, interiors, and landscapes.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to translate project visions into compelling visuals, ensuring accuracy in materials, textures, lighting, and spatial relationships.
• Partner with project teams, who will provide developed models, to refine and enhance visual outputs.
• Act as a resource for teams to improve efficiency in delivering 3D models and project information, offering a critical eye to elevate visualization quality.
• Meet regularly with directors and project managers to streamline digital design workflows and integrate rendering processes into the firm's operations.
• Serve as a mentor in software best practices, aiding teams in optimizing their rendering techniques and ensuring consistency in deliverables.
• Contribute to concept modeling and provide high-quality interior and exterior renderings that align with GRADE’s standards.
• Develop visual assets for marketing materials, client presentations, and project documentation.
• Stay current with advancements in rendering technology and implement new techniques to enhance efficiency and visualization quality.
