Job Description
- The Distillation Technician is responsible for overseeing multiple distillation processes while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- This role involves monitoring process parameters, conducting tests, and maintaining product quality.
- The technician will also participate in plant safety programs, maintain production logs, and collaborate with lab analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee the operation of multiple distillation processes and equipment functions.
- Participate in plant safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance by ensuring all operations adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies, while fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
- Monitor and control process parameters to meet product specifications, analyzing system controls, log sheets, and lab reports.
- Perform tests at various production stages, including Gas Chromatography, moisture, non-volatile residue, and color analysis on both pre-feed and finished products.
- Optimize equipment operation to maximize efficiency, yields, and minimize waste.
- Collect product samples at various stages for lab analysis.
- Maintain production logs and reports, documenting production levels, maintenance needs, and related information.
- Contribute to plant safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements
- Experience working with distillation equipment for 1 year.
- Experience working with temperature, pressure, and flow monitoring
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment
- Experience working in an industrial setting for 1 year.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00
