Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Distribution Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing design work for power distribution projects, participating in client meetings, ensuring quality assurance and quality control for junior-level drafters and designers, and creating comprehensive design packages including prints, bills of materials, and loading calculations. Occasional site visits will be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform design work for power distribution projects.
• Participate actively in client meetings.
• Ensure QA/QC for junior-level drafters and designers.
• Create full design packages, including prints, BOM, and loading calculations.
• Conduct occasional site visits.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in power distribution design.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Knowledge of electrical and utility design.
• Familiarity with GIS, SPANS, CREWS, or DDS.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or ).
• Previous experience in power distribution.

Work Environment

This role offers a remote work environment with occasional field visits to client sites. The distribution team currently consists of four local members in Pittsburgh, and you will have access to other engineers across different locations. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27
