Distribution Designer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Distribution Designer to mentor Jr Designers and perform QC/QA on designs and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distribution systems.
• QC/QC design packages before submitting to client.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Microstation, DDS for distribution design tasks.
• Conduct OH to UG (Overhead to Underground) conversion projects.
• Collaborate with project teams and attend meetings as required.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology/Associates degree for Designer position.
• Minimum of 2 years of distribution design experience and knowledge and understanding of distribution electrical systems.
• Experience with GDT, Maximo and/or AutoCAD is helpful.
• Experience in power distribution and delivery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
