Document Control Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Assistant to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for transferring paper batch records to electronic format, scanning documents, and uploading them to our internal record management software. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential to become permanent.
Responsibilities
- Transfer paper batch records to electronic format.
- Scan documents and upload them to the internal record management software.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of electronic records.
- Troubleshoot issues related to document scanning and uploading.
- Maintain organized and accessible electronic records.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in inventory control is a plus.
- Previous experience with document management software is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills are a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Work Environment
The position is onsite at Norwich, NY, Monday through Friday during the first shift.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
