Job Title: Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drafter with extensive experience in the process industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in P&ID drafting and proficiency in AutoCAD. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on projects around the world and may lead to a longer-term position based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Learn BRISCAD software.
• Receive mark-ups from the Process department and create new P&IDs or revise existing ones.
• Review and interpret piping drawings.
• Understand and utilize the AutoCAD library.
• Tag items using AutoCAD.
• Apply all P&ID symbology.
• Produce detailed 2D drawings.

Essential Skills

• Drafting
• AutoCAD
• Instrumentation
• Piping
• P&ID drafting
• 5 years of experience in the process industry (chemical, gas, hydrochemical, or petrochemical)
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in P&ID drafting
• Experience with 2D drawings

Work Environment

The role requires working 5 days a week in the office from 8 AM to 5 PM. You will have your own desktop at the office and will not need to bring any additional equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
