Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Drafter specializing in precast concrete design. This role involves creating 2D and occasional 3D models using AutoCAD, preparing detailed manufacturing documentation, and collaborating with engineers and project managers to meet project goals. You will be responsible for improving and editing existing templates, as well as developing new ones. The company manufactures a wide range of precast concrete products, including catch basins, manholes, vault structures, and custom designs, serving the entire Pacific Northwest. Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred
Top Skills & Responsibilities:
- Draft and design precast concrete components and assemblies.
- Create and update detailed manufacturing documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to achieve project goals.
- Utilize 2D AutoCAD and occasionally 3D modeling software.
- Improve and edit existing templates and develop new ones.
- Ensure designs meet quality and functionality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Background in manufacturing and/or construction.
- At least 2 years of drafting experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
