Job Title: Drafter

Job Description

Join an innovative startup aiming to revolutionize the Aerospace & Defense industry by 3D printing complex parts and components. We are currently designing and building a 3D printing machine capable of tight tolerance manufacturing, which will significantly reduce costs for our customers. As we expand, we plan to target the Automotive and Medical Device industries. We are a small team of 10 employees, and we have recently acquired a manufacturing space where production is set to begin in June 2025. We are seeking a talented drafter to support our Lead Designer in designing our cutting-edge 3D printer.

Responsibilities

• Take current drawings made in NX and perform GD&T/Detailing work.
• Create 2D assembly drawings for the equipment.
• Design parts that are fabricated, machined, or welded.
• Support other areas including supply chain development, process development, and part identification when not engaged in drafting work.

Essential Skills

• Associates of Drafting or Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with NX Design (SolidWorks or CATIA considered if all other qualifications are met).
• Experience designing parts that are fabricated, machined, or welded.
• Strong GD&T experience.
• 1 years of applicable work experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any 3D Printing or Machining experience outside of work is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is onsite in an office environment. The expected schedule is 8-4, five days per week, with flexibility on the start time. The candidate selected for this position will have the opportunity to go full-time after 6 months and grow their career in a potentially industry-breaking company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
