Job Title: Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Drafter proficient in both AutoCAD and REVIT. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare and maintain backgrounds for MEP designers, coordinate with project managers and architects, and ensure timely delivery of project files.

Responsibilities

• Download, set up, clean, and prepare AutoCAD and REVIT backgrounds for MEP designers.
• Coordinate with MEP project managers and architects on project issuances and schedules.
• Maintain and update backgrounds on multiple projects.
• Work with designers on project issuances and schedules.
• Plot drawings for designer/manager review.
• Upload and deliver finished project files to clients in a timely manner per deadline schedules.
• Organize project folders.
• Demonstrate a dedicated work ethic with excellent written and time management skills.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• 1-2 years of industry experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to the office.
• Experience in MEP drafting.

Work Environment

The office setting includes about 20 people and has flexible working hours between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM. The work environment is an open office/studio with no doors. Candidates should be comfortable with this setting. The company offers a flexible work environment as long as deadlines are met. Typically, employees do not work more than 50 hours a week. Successful candidates manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce quality designs that meet deadlines. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
