Job Title: EHS Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated EHS Engineer to enforce EHS policies and procedures ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including ISO certification standards. The ideal candidate will perform regular risk assessments, conduct safety audits, and provide employee training on EHS protocols. This role is critical for our team's safety and visibility, offering a path for career growth into a managerial position.

Responsibilities

• Enforce EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental hazards.
• Conduct routine safety audits and facility inspections to monitor compliance and detect potential hazards.
• Provide training to employees on EHS protocols, safety procedures, and emergency response.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure the organization complies with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.

Work Environment

Our client is a leading supplier of Fastener Components, Engineered Components, and Engineered Plastics serving many diverse industries, with a heavy focus on EV business. The role involves working cross-functionally with all teams in the facility, which operates 60 machines over three shifts. This is a high visibility role within a long-tenured team, aimed at individuals looking to grow and stay with the company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.69 - $48.07/hr.
