Job Title: Electrical Designer
Job Description
This role will support the new product development team, specifically for air chillers used in data centers. You will be responsible for electrical design, wiring, and creating diagrams to support ongoing and upcoming projects. While the primary software used is Creo, familiarity with other programs is also acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems and wiring for air chillers used in data centers.
- Create and update electrical diagrams to support new product development.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Utilize Creo software for design work, with flexibility to use other CAD programs as necessary.
- Develop electrical panel layouts and designs.
- Perform electrical panel wiring and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Essential Skills
- Electrical design
- Electrical engineering
- Proficiency in Autocad
- Experience with schematic design
- Familiarity with Creo, Creo Parametric, Pro Engineer Design
- Panel wiring and layout design
- 5 years of experience with electrical panel design
- 5 years of wiring experience
- 5 years of experience with Creo or similar CAD programs
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electrical Design
- Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience
Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid work environment, with the expectation that 60% of your time will be spent onsite. You have the flexibility to choose the schedule for your onsite days.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
