Job Title: Electrical Designer

Job Description

The successful candidate will focus on 2D Electrical AutoCAD designs for relay panels and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). This role requires a strong understanding of specifications and customizations for various relay panels. Initially, the main focus will be on electrical design, with potential involvement in software programming in the future.

This is a contract position to provide immediate support in the area of 2D Electrical design. This contract will be around 2 months in duration.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D electrical CAD designs for relay panels and PLCs.
• Interpret and apply specifications for custom relay panel designs.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for electrical designs.
• Conduct reviews and revisions of designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain data sheets for electrical components and systems.
• Ensure data sheets are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant team members.
• Stay current with advancements in electrical design and CAD software.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in electrical CAD design, particularly with relay panels and PLCs.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN).
• Strong understanding of electrical specifications and customization processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in hardware design.
• Knowledge of PLC design.
• Ability to work with various teams and customers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
