Job Title: Electrical Designer

Job Description

This Electrical Designer will be responsible for electrical design and layout of control panels, including the sizing of wires, circuit breakers, drives, motor starters, and more. They will design the control panel hardware, PLCs, and HMIs and update the bill of materials as well.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout electrical control panels, including sizing wires, circuit breakers, drives, and motor starters.
• Design control panel hardware, PLCs, and HMIs.
• Update the bill of materials.
• Develop P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).

• Associate's degree in Design (electrical preferred)
• 5 years of experience with electrical control panel design
• 5 years of experience with electrical safety standards UL508
• 5 years of experience with control panel layout
• Knowledge and understanding of P&IDs

Work Environment

The role is based in Janesville and will be the first Electrical Designer at this location, paving the way for future opportunities within the electrical design team. The work involves using technologies and equipment such as AutoCAD Electrical. The work setting is collaborative, fostering innovation and growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr.
