Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Job Description
The Senior Electrical Engineer designs advanced electrical components and sub-assemblies with minimal support.
Responsibilities
- Detail and design electrical components and electrical sub-assemblies.
- Research, test, and assemble electrical components and sub-assemblies.
- Troubleshoot production problems.
- Assist in the documentation of components and sub-assemblies.
- Maintain documentation and/or logbook.
- Responsible for maintaining design documentation for review purposes.
- Participate in multi-discipline design efforts with high awareness of design implications within a team environment.
- Provide research support, understand new technologies, and support product innovation.
- Support specialty electrical designs with a high degree of technical independence.
Essential Skills
- PCB design
- Hardware design
- Electrical engineering
- 2 years of experience in PCB design
- 2 years of experience in hardware design
- 2 years of experience in electrical engineering
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation.
- Familiarity with mass spectrometers, protein analysis, and various applications in life sciences.
- Understanding of analog, digital, and mixed signal designs.
- Experience with high-end FPGAs and high-performance, low-noise, high-resolution, high-bit-count designs.
- Some experience in industrial electronics design.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
