What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at Actalent?
We are looking for an experienced outgoing and highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment,
and systems for aerospace and defense applications.
Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 Annually
Top 3 Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2 years of experience.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry specifications (RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-810, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop system requirements and capture schematics.
- Design and verify support test tools.
- Prototype, test, debug, and document hardware.
- Interface with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, thermal, systems, AEH/SW).
- Ensure design compliance with electrical and environmental specifications.
- Prepare verification test procedures and engineering change notices.
- Coordinate with quality assurance, purchasing, and manufacturing to support production and resolve obsolescence issues.
- Direct and coordinate repair assistance for production and field returns.
- Use computer-assisted engineering software to design and perform engineering tasks.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and reasoning skills.
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical documents and regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Effective presentation and communication skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00
