Job Title: Electrical Engineering Hardware Manager

Job Description

Lead and mentor the team responsible for the development of design concepts and architectures to support current and future launch vehicles. Identify tasks and resources required to meet company objectives, develop schedules for completion, track progress against schedules, and make corrections when necessary. Work with outside vendors and contractors to improve their performance against design requirements and schedule. Contribute directly to Avionics hardware development tasks, potentially including circuit design, harness design, and/or systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Make necessary corrections to keep projects on schedule.
• Work with outside vendors and contractors to meet design requirements and schedules.
• Contribute directly to Avionics hardware development tasks, including circuit design, harness design, and systems integration.

Essential Skills

• Electrical engineering
• Hardware engineering
• Leadership
• Aerospace experience
• 10 years of experience as an electrical or hardware engineer
• 2-3 years of experience as a lead or manager

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the aerospace or automotive industries
• Knowledge of SMC 16 or MIL-STD-DO160
• Experience leading a hardware team, particularly in PCB-centric projects
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
• Ideal firmware experience with Embedded C, VHDL, or Verilog

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based, with occasional visits to different facilities as needed. The corporate office is located at 1320 Arrow Point Dr. #109, with additional facilities at The Hive (5900 183A) and Briggs (210, Bertram, TX).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $200000.00 - $200000.00/yr.

Stock from day 1, bonus, growing company- major mission is going to the moon right now; has two other missions already under contract

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Leander,TX.
