Job Title: Electrical Engineering Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician who will be responsible for soldering, assembling, and testing RF systems and antennas. The ideal candidate will also troubleshoot using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and digital multi-meters, as well as perform surface mount assembly under a microscope.
Responsibilities
- Soldering, assembling, and testing RF systems and antennas.
- Troubleshooting using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and digital multi-meters.
- Performing surface mount assembly under a microscope.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in soldering, particularly with J-001 for soldering, IPC-6018 or IPC-6010 standards.
- Experience with RF testing and assembly.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, logic analyzers, and digital multi-meters.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the aerospace industry.
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing environment and will involve some work under a microscope. You will be part of a team of innovators passionate about designing and deploying solutions that are accelerating humanity’s expansion into space. The team in Longmont, CO, is focused on designing and deploying industry-leading satellite mechanisms, deployable structures, solar array systems, and space antennas to the global space market.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
