Position Overview:
As an Electrical Estimator, you'll play a vital role in our growth by generating accurate cost estimates, fostering collaboration with General Contractors, and managing essential construction documents. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a sharp eye for detail, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and create precise cost estimates at various design stages.
- Collaborate with General Contractors and manage construction documents, including RFIs.
- Conduct on-site walk-throughs, ensuring professional communication with clients.
- Price systems such as HVAC, fire alarms, and solar for a variety of projects.
- Prepare thorough take-offs to facilitate accurate project costing.
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in estimation and pricing for electrical construction.
- Knowledge of fire alarm and low voltage systems.
- Solid understanding of electrical circuitry.
- Familiarity with the bidding process and commercial construction.
- Proficiency in estimating software.
Qualifications:
- 3-10 years of estimating experience.
- Hands-on construction field experience overseeing projects and skilled trades.
- Strong client-facing skills with effective communication abilities.
- Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, Esticom, or Bid2Win.
Work Environment:
- Full-time in-office role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm)
- All necessary equipment and software will be provided.
