Job Description
Our client, with a 40-year history of excellence in the construction industry, seeks individuals who embody customer service and possess a drive to become leaders. Specializing in mission-critical and high-performance facilities, they embrace the latest construction technologies and provide advisory services focused on financing, designing, building, and servicing complex systems. They are looking for an Electrical Project Manager to run healthcare projects in Springfield, VA and Fairfax.
Responsibilities
- Manage jobsite documentation such as RFIs, Drawing Revisions, Drawing Reproductions, ASIs, etc.
- Track and manage PTPs, AHAs, Daily Reports, and other project logs.
- Track and manage material requisitions, purchase orders, and verify receipts of materials.
- Work with the Senior Project Manager on scheduling meetings with subcontractors and general contractors.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in construction management.
- Experience with healthcare and capital projects.
- Electrical background is preferred.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam software or Adobe.
- Efficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare/hospital projects is preferred.
- Strong intellectual ability and self-motivation.
- Ability to learn quickly and think independently.
Work Environment
The role involves site visits around the DMV area and daily trips to the office located in Odenton, MD. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 2 PM, with flexibility to start at 7 AM or 8 AM. The job site starts at 5 AM. The position offers a 12-month contract to hire, with benefits including 2 weeks of PTO, 6 paid holidays, 401(k), medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
