Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, machine software, and customer support. This role involves working on electrical design in EPLAN and providing remote support to customers, including testing machines online.

Responsibilities

• Program PLCs and machine software using Codesys
• Support customers remotely, including testing machines online
• Design electrical systems using EPLAN
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using Structured Text, Ladder Logic, and Function Block Diagram
• Work with TwinCAT (XAE and XAR), EtherCAT, and Codesys
• Utilize fieldbus protocols and industry standards such as ISO, TwinSAFE, and SICK Safe
• Integrate HMI and work with industrial networking and communication protocols

Essential Skills

• 1 years of experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics
• Proficiency in Structured Text, Ladder Logic, and Function Block Diagram
• Experience with TwinCAT, EtherCAT, and Codesys
• Knowledge of fieldbus protocols and industry standards
• HMI integration experience
• Familiarity with industrial networking and communication protocols

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Visual Basic or Unity experience
• Experience in machine automation
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
• Exposure to electrical drawings/diagrams

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. There will be minimal supervision as the other team members are overseas with a 7-hour time difference. This is not a traveling role, and travel is extremely rare. When travel is required, Engineering Field Technicians are usually dispatched. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions to our customers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.67/hr.
