Electromechanical Technician

Job Description

This candidate will provide programming support for the design, implementation, and startup of equipment. The candidate will need to interact with vendors, customers, and internal personnel to complete projects. On average, the travel requirement will be 45% for 5-day trips.

Responsibilities

• Provide programming support for the design, implementation, and startup of equipment
• Interact with vendors, customers, and internal personnel to complete projects
• Travel approximately 45% of the time for 5-day trips

Essential Skills

• 5 years of experience in a programming role
• 5 years of experience with PLCs
• Experience in fluid process and controls

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Wonderware
• Experience with HMI FactoryTalk
• Experience with RSLogix 5000

Work Environment

The working environment consists of a team of three programmers under the direction of an engineering manager. The work will be both in-house and require 25% travel for 5-day trips, rarely extending into weekends. The position offers the flexibility to run with projects independently, especially within smaller companies in the Edgar area.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
