Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to lead embedded firmware and IoT development efforts. In this role, you will be hands-on, taking responsibility for all aspects of the firmware development process including architecting, coding, debugging, as well as building and managing a team. Responsibilities

• Architect, code, and debug embedded firmware.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers.
• Handle all aspects of the firmware development process.
• Develop and maintain IoT solutions.
• Configure boot loaders and software interfaces.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Embedded C, C/C programming.
• Experience with ARM Cortex M0/M3/M4, STM32, and NXP LPC82x Series ARM microcontrollers.
• Knowledge in configuring boot loaders and software interfaces.
• Familiarity with embedded system design and development.
• Hands-on experience with microcontroller peripherals including I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, and DAC.
• Debugging skills using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Zigbee, BLE Mesh, LoRaWAN, and WiFi.
• Knowledge of networking connectivity protocols such as TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, MQTT, and AMQP.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
