Embedded Software Engineer

Londonderry, NH (Hybrid)

Full-time position

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to develop new product software platform architectures. The role involves C/C programming on microprocessor and DSP-based products, and the use of various software and hardware tools for development and debugging. 

You will design, simulate, develop, and debug advanced control and signal processing algorithms, and perform root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop new product software platform architectures.

• Program in C/C on microprocessor and DSP-based products.

• Utilize software tools such as compilers/linkers, debuggers, in-circuit emulators, JTAG, bug-tracking systems, and source-code control/build systems for development and debugging.

• Design, simulate, develop, and debug advanced control and signal processing algorithms.

• Use hardware tools including oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators/analyzers for software development and debugging.

• Conduct root-cause analysis.

Essential Skills

• Embedded C Firmware development

• Microprocessor/controller bare metal (no operating system) programming

• Experience with SPI, I2C, RS-232, RS-485, Modbus communication protocols

• Experience working within regulated environments (IEC, EN, UL standards preferred)

o Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, etc. 

Preferred Skills

• C programming experience

• RTOS experience

• Digital signal processing

• Algorithm development

• JTAG knowledge

• Product safety design experience

• Failure mode analysis

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $135000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
