Job Title: Project Support Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Support Specialist to join our team. You will work closely with the engineering and sales teams to compile and analyze cost data, create detailed and accurate quotes for structural steel structures, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role offers a laid-back environment with opportunities for growth and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with the engineering and sales teams to put quotes together for structural steel structures.
• Compile and analyze cost data to create detailed and accurate quotes for customers.
• Pull drawings and bill of material (BOM) within AutoCAD to put quotes together off of design layouts.
• Interpret and analyze engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate estimates.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to proposal due dates and ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop formal proposals that clearly outline project scope, costs, and timelines.
• Engage directly with customers to provide quotations and address any inquiries.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and reading blueprints.
• Ability to compile and analyze cost data.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Previous technical sales support experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a technical field such as Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Technology, Engineering, or an agriculture-related field.
• 1 year of experience with AutoCAD drawings and blueprints.

Work Environment

This role is based in a small office with 20 employees, looking to add to the sales team. The environment is family-oriented with a non-corporate feel. You will work 40-45 hours per week in a salaried position. The company offers monthly incentives to earn bonuses and provides a lot of flexibility in work hours. The culture is very laid-back, ensuring that as long as work is completed, there is leniency with clock-in and clock-out times. There is significant room for growth within the company, and performance-based bonuses are available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $28.84/hr.
