Job Title: Engineering Technician

Job Description

Take direction from electrical and mechanical engineers for IC replacements and building electromechanical components and systems. Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot and test accordingly. Work alongside a team of engineers (mix of electrical and mechanical) and occasionally assist assemblers on the production floor with troubleshooting. Support engineers in test engineering functions.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from electrical and mechanical engineers for IC replacements and building electromechanical components and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics for troubleshooting and testing.
• Collaborate with a team of electrical and mechanical engineers.
• Assist assemblers on the production floor with troubleshooting as needed.
• Support engineers in various test engineering functions.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Proficient in operating electrical test equipment (e.g., digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies)
• Experience with IPC soldering
• Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read components and data sheets

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits
• IPC certification for soldering is a plus but not mandatory
• 5 years of experience in a relevant field

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00
