Engineering Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an Engineering Technician with expertise in soldering, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will work with prototype optical sensors and play a crucial role in our engineering processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform soldering, assembly, and testing of prototype optical sensors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to optical sensors.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and produce high-quality sensors.
- Ensure compliance with IPC and J-STD standards.
- Work on projects related to the aerospace, military, and aviation industries.
Essential Skills
- 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
- 5 years of soldering experience with J-STD and IPC certifications.
- Proficiency in testing and assembly of electronic components.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with prototype development.
- Knowledge of optical sensor technology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, small team environment.
Work Environment
This is a small engineering firm with headquarters in Arizona and a location in Fort Collins. The Fort Collins facility focuses on prototype design, assembly, and production, primarily for the defense industry. The team is small, consisting of 15 people in total, with 5 members in the Fort Collins office. Due to the company's size, employees are expected to be agile and adaptable, often taking on multiple roles.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $700000.00/yr.
