Job Title: Engineering Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team in the engineering department. This role involves working directly with dealers to modify and edit quotes, ensuring that the products being sold can actually be manufactured. The position requires a balance of working with quote writer software and DraftSight to ensure clean and accurate quotes from our dealers.

Responsibilities

• Work 50% of the time in the quote writer software and 50% in DraftSight.
• Ensure that quotes coming from dealers are clean and accurate.
• Take preset assemblies (Blocks) and ensure the 2D drawings will allow for them.
• Collaborate with dealers to understand and validate fire truck orders.
• Modify drawings in AutoCAD 2D.
• Serve as a liaison between the engineering department and the dealer network.
• Update and modify offerings in the quote writer software.

• Mechanical and schematic knowledge.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Troubleshooting abilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.25/hr.
