What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Electrical Engineer position at Actalent?
- Develop PLC/HMI applications to meet specifications using Allen Bradley.
- Plan, evaluate, organize, and implement automation-related projects and initiatives.
- Create electrical schematics and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Develop Electrical Bill of Materials.
- Review design efforts from the production team to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing installations.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade legacy code.
- Provide electrical and controls engineering expertise for both existing and new equipment.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert in control systems, including PLC, HMI, VFD, Motion Control, system integration, and electromechanical devices.
- Develop, duplicate, and modify new and existing PLC programs for our proprietary process control systems.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Exposure to PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of electrical schematics and design from school or professional experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
