What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer position at Actalent?
Job Description:
- The successful candidate, who must have a degree in a geology or civil engineering discipline, will be expected to perform geophysical field surveys (e.g., electrical resistivity, ground penetrating radar and utility locating), and to observe and document geotechnical and geologic investigations (e.g., test borings, test pits, etc.) on project sites that will generally be located throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Southern New York.
- Performing and/or leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations, design and development of plans and specifications, observation and inspection, and the writing, preparation, and review of related reports for the services provided.
- Review drawings and construction to assure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track and evaluate project progress, budgets, and recommend changes.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $68000.00/yr.
