Actalent is currently hiring entry level laboratory assistants in New Orleans.
Job Description:
- - Sample Preparation
- - Supporting Chemist
- -Weighing samples
- -Sorting samples
- -inventory of samples
- - Ensure all samples are ready for the next day when lab technicians get in
- - Housekeeping and keeping their designated lab area clean
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma OR GED
- Experience in Laboratory or Fast paced environments or Food production or Warehouses.
Work Environment:
- Working in the pesticides department of a food quality testing lab
- During Training : 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Post Training: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm with 30 min lunch

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.00/hr.
