Entry Level Environmental Field Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Environmental Field Technician to join our team. The position involves significant travel and offers the chance to see various parts of the country while performing important environmental remediation work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental remediation, including in-situ remediation and well injections.
- Perform site inspections and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Utilize mechanical aptitude to manage and operate remediation equipment.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on project progress and findings.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to achieve project goals.
- Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and communication.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
- Hardworking and strong work ethic.
- 40 Hour OSHA certification.
- Willingness to travel (70% of the time).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Mechanical aptitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in environmental science, hazwoper, construction, environmental remediation, farming, geology, inspection, project management, and well injections.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome.
Work Environment
This position will be primarily field-based, onsite at clients throughout the mid-Atlantic region, involving approximately 70% local and national travel. The work includes in-situ remediation, direct push injections, and well injections. The company offers a small team environment with significant room for growth, providing a supportive and family-like atmosphere. Benefits include 10 paid holidays, 1 week of PTO (plus comp time for overtime), 401k, full benefits, and all travel expenses paid.
