Construction Estimator

Job Description

The Estimator will be responsible for bidding and proposals. This role requires extensive experience in the Philly General Contractor (GC) market and proficiency with various estimating tools and software. This position is based out of West Chester, PA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit bids and proposals.
• Conduct detailed pricing and bidding for projects.
• Utilize knowledge of Philly subcontractors to obtain competitive bids.
• Use Smart Bid software for project estimation.
• Collaborate with project management teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
• Engage in preconstruction activities and cost estimating for commercial construction projects.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as an estimator within the Philly GC market.
• Proficiency in pricing and bidding.
• Familiarity with Philly subcontractors.
• Experience with Smart Bid software.
• Experience in blueprint reading and project management.
• Expertise in construction estimating and commercial construction.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00
