Responsibilities

• Develop and present building estimates and feasibility studies.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Maintain technical knowledge of building components and their functions.
• Understand and instruct on drywall, metal framing, and acoustical ceiling industry's labor, materials, and compliance with federal, state, and local building codes, ordinances, and regulations.
• Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures.
• Perform bidding and takeoffs.
• Ensure proper drywall finishing and hanging.

Essential Skills

• Experience in commercial drywall construction.
• Proficiency in drywall, estimation, metal framing, and construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of building components life cycle values and maintenance requirements.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost estimating, and fiscal management principles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of building components and their functions.
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Negotiation and management of contractual arrangements.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted out of the office in Ashland, VA. There will be routine site visits for ongoing and prospective projects. Join a winning team with a small company feel and a large company backing, offering competitive pay and opportunities for growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00

Client will offer relocation assistance for the right person to move to Richmond. They also have a competitive ESOP program and bonuses throughout the year based on office growth.
