Job Description

Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates. Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary information. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates. Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses. Prepare and present bid proposals, budgets, and cost reports to clients and stakeholders. Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes in scope or conditions. Maintain a database of historical cost data and industry trends to support future estimates. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., InSite preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in sitework estimating or a similar role

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $44.00/hr.
