Job Description

This position is responsible for the maintenance and engineering of facilities and property owned by the company. It also involves specifying, designing, and implementing new equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and engineer company facilities and property.
• Specify, design, and implement new equipment and processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Handle HVAC, industrial electricity, hydraulics, and compressed air systems.
• Use CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD for building maintenance and project documentation.
• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Provide advanced PLC troubleshooting and programming.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field and 5-7 years of industrial experience – OR – 15 years of industrial experience with 5 years in a supervisory role

• Ability to manage multiple projects of various magnitudes simultaneously

Work Environment

Normal working hours are Monday to Friday from 8AM to 4:30PM, with potential for overtime as needed. The position requires being on-call for phone calls after hours and during weekends. Travel may be needed for training and company business. The company offers a family atmosphere with minimal out-of-pocket costs for employee benefits, ten paid holidays, and a transition from consultant to hire in nine months.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
