Job Title: Fermentation Technician

Job Description

The Blending/Fermentation Technician/Operator will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of large-scale tanks (300L-3000L) or other manufacturing processes in compliance with production specifications. The Technician will prioritize activities within their assigned scope and responsibility and strictly adhere to safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities

• Operate large-scale tanks (300L-3000L) or other manufacturing processes safely and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with production specifications.
• Prioritize assigned activities within the scope of responsibility.
• Strictly adhere to safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Essential Skills

• Experience in fermentation processes
• Knowledge of HACCP
• Experience with GMP environments
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Food Manufacturing or other regulated industries

Work Environment

The role is based in a Food Flavor and Probiotic ingredient facility. The company is family-owned and team-oriented. Overtime is minimal and always voluntary. Employees benefit from a lunch program and a competitive vacation and holiday program.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $58000.00/yr.

This is a direct placement opportunity. The benefits would be provided by the company and available upon request from Jeneil Biotech by the candidate.
