Job Description
In this role, individuals will be troubleshooting access controls and locking mechanisms, air flow, lighting controls, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on all products according to specifications and predetermined schedule.
- Provide warranty service and support on all products according to specifications.
- Provide emergency service and support on all products according to specifications.
- Review system installations and begin system commissioning.
- Travel up to 100% M-F

- Minimum 2 years of field service experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience reading blueprints

Work Environment
This is not a labor-intensive field service role. The primary customer base consists of animal research labs, including institutions such as UW-Madison, Yale, Harvard, and various pharmaceutical companies. The role requires up to 100% travel, with the company covering flight costs and providing a per diem for hotel and food expenses. Employees will need to pay upfront for meals, hotel, and rental cars, approximately $2500 a month on a card. A company vehicle, typically a small van, will be provided. Expect approximately 400-500 hours of work annually, with a higher number during training. Occasionally, work may require staying through a weekend, but compensatory time off will be provided. The work involves entering labs that house various animals, including the client, rat, chinchillas, dogs, cows.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
