Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining flow meters, pumps, and electrical components. You will interact with field personnel virtually to resolve issues and will be responsible for instrumentation and monitoring of PLCs and HMIs. This position involves approximately 25% travel within Texas and potentially other locations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot flow meters, pumps, and electrical components.
- Interact virtually with field personnel to troubleshoot issues.
- Instrumentation and monitoring of PLCs and HMIs.
- Install flow meters.
- Build skids.
- Maintain and repair instrumentation and monitoring systems.
- Program and troubleshoot using Modbus and ladder logic.
Essential Skills
- Troubleshooting experience.
- Commissioning and maintenance repair skills.
- Instrumentation expertise.
- Experience with PLCs and HMIs.
- Knowledge of Modbus and ladder logic.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Ability to wear multiple hats and adapt to various roles.
Work Environment
The position is primarily based out of our Longmont site, with travel to Texas required one week per month. You will work alongside a team of two controls engineers and a senior controls engineer. This role offers opportunities for domestic travel around the US, with all travel expenses compensated. The work environment promotes growth within the company and provides diverse experiences.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
