Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Safety Systems Engineer with domain knowledge in steering and braking systems, as well as functional safety experience, to help our client’s system meet the ISO 25119:2018 standard. The ideal candidate will evaluate existing system designs and artifacts, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to ensure the system is functionally safe, beyond just process compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze Current Systems Requirements and Design:
o Conduct a thorough evaluation of steering and braking systems.
o Identify gaps that need to be met according to the ISO 25119:2018 standard.
o Determine gaps in system design to reduce safety risks independent of the standard version.
• Perform Detailed Analysis:
o Deep dive into current design.
o Conduct gap analysis.
o Develop design solutions.
o Plan and implement solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
o Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience:
o Deep understanding of ISO 25119 standard for agricultural machinery
o Extensive knowledge of steering and braking systems for agricultural applications
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
