Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, timelines, and financial resources to ensure successful and cost-effective completion.
- Organize and perform laboratory testing and geotechnical evaluations, ensuring precision and efficiency.
- Develop detailed proposals, reports, and design documents with a strong focus on accuracy and clarity.
- Foster clear and consistent communication with clients, oversee invoicing processes, and handle project modifications as needed.
- Participate in business development efforts, cultivate client partnerships, and guide staff to achieve project excellence and client satisfaction.
Essential Skills
- Experience in project management, including managing scope, timelines, and financial resources.
- Proficiency in organizing and performing laboratory testing and geotechnical evaluations.
- Strong skills in developing detailed proposals, reports, and design documents.
- Ability to foster clear and consistent communication with clients and handle project modifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or closely related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and related experience.
- At least 1 year of work experience as a project manager or working under a project manager.
- Professional Engineer license in Georgia or the ability to obtain, a plus.
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn commercial software applications.
Work Environment
Working Conditions: In Office and in the field - 8 AM - 5 PM. Will receive company vehicle to use during work hours with company gas card. Will be training and working with other geotechnical engineers (5-7 engineers). Working outdoors the majority of the time in varying weather conditions. Walking over rough, uneven terrain and standing for potentially up to 12 hours a day. Routinely lifting and carrying 40-50lbs (field/laboratory samples and equipment). Maneuvering field equipment safely, such as a loaded wheelbarrow, on uneven ground around active construction sites.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
