Job Description

We are seeking a GIS Analyst to support various projects in the greater Pittsburgh area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for importing construction as-built geometry, providing shapefiles for surveys, creating exhibits for construction projects, grant applications, design reports, and processing stormwater and sanitary sewer data.

Responsibilities

• Import construction as-built geometry.
• Provide shapefiles to assist in surveys.
• Create exhibits for various applications, including construction projects, grant applications, and design reports.
• Process stormwater and sanitary sewer data.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in GIS, ESRI ArcGIS, and ArcToolbox.
• Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS version 10.x products (Basic, Standard, and Advanced).
• Experience with geodatabase creation and data management in ArcCatalog.
• Ability to develop and automate processes using model builder and Python scripts.
• Familiarity with ArcGISPro 2.x and its integration with ArcGIS Online.
• Knowledge of the ArcGIS Online platform and Survey 123.
• Experience in data extraction for analysis and interpretation, including international business data.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing scheduled tasks, troubleshooting issues, and developing solutions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience managing and completing post-processing of GPS data.
• Field data collection experience using Trimble GPS units.
• Programming and scripting experience (Python, Shell, VB, Javascript).
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Server.
• Experience with ESRI's SDE, SQL Server, and other relational databases.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Access.

Work Environment

This position involves all office work with a hybrid schedule, allowing for one day of remote work per week. The role will be performed in a cubicle setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00
