Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Developer to join our Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of Electric Vehicle (EV) engineering services for the next generation EV platform, set to release in the next 3 years. This role focuses on back-end development to manage, maintain, and optimize charging stations and events, working on cloud services. The position is located in Plano, TX, with a hybrid work schedule, requiring on-site presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop GoLang application program interfaces (APIs) and web services.
• Maintain REST API documentation using Swagger and create design documentation.
• Document work and engage in quality testing/validation for changes or improved features before release.
• Troubleshoot issues and debug on the AWS cloud platform.
• Optimize and improve existing codebases and perform peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with leads and team members to meet all project deliverables and milestone dates.
• Communicate effectively with team members and suppliers.

MUST HAVE Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience with Golang.
• Strong exp in AWS cloud services.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical skills with knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with other programming languages such as Python and NodeJS.
• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience in implementing and validating platform technical specifications.
• Experience with cloud engineering, architecture, DevOps, and software as a service.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $61.00
