Hardware Design Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Hardware Design Engineer to oversee the development of RTS wired intercom products. In this role, you will lead the development of hardware, including RF, analog, and digital circuits. You will work closely with the firmware/software team to take new products from concept to production, ensuring excellence and innovation every step of the way.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of new RF/IP-based audio products.
- Perform firmware development and testing.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of field-related product issues.
- Oversee project planning, design, implementation, verification, troubleshooting, and industrialization.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Product Management, Technical Support, and other design engineering team members.
Essential Skills
- 6 years of experience in RF design focused activities and/or high-speed digital design.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- B.S. or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred).
- Independent performer, self-motivated, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with RF analog and digital design techniques and circuits.
- Proficiency with standard lab test equipment including digital oscilloscopes, signal generators, multi-meters, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Knowledge of IP-connectivity and protocols.
- Experience in writing technical documentation (design specifications, test plans, etc.) and using Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 6-12 years of experience in hardware design – schematic capture and PCB Design – full product life cycle development from design to production.
- High-speed digital design.
- Interest in RF design, with experience being a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $132000.00/yr.
