Job Title: Electrical Hardware Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Hardware Engineer responsible for PCB Design and Layout. This role will support a US Army Government Contract for R&D efforts of a Launcher Electronic Assembly installed on Military Aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCB layouts using Altium.
• Create schematic diagrams and bill of materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement PCB designs that meet product specifications.
• Perform design rule checks and signal integrity analysis.
• Generate fabrication and assembly files for manufacturing.
• Implement design changes and resolve any issues during prototyping, fabrication, and production stages.
• Stay current with the latest PCB design trends and technologies.
• Assist in the development of test procedures for validation of electronic functionality.

Essential Skills

• PCB layout and circuit board design.
• Proficiency with Altium.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (EE, EET, or similar). An associate degree may be considered if the candidate has 15 years of experience.
• 5 years of experience with PCB Layout and Circuit Card Design.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
• Ability to create schematics and perform signal integrity analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Full lifecycle development experience.
• Experience with Zuken.
• Previous DoD industry experience.

Work Environment

This role requires working in the office 4 days a week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
