Job Title: Electrical Hardware Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Hardware Engineer responsible for PCB Design and Layout. This role will support a US Army Government Contract for R&D efforts of a Launcher Electronic Assembly installed on Military Aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCB layouts using Altium.
- Create schematic diagrams and bill of materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement PCB designs that meet product specifications.
- Perform design rule checks and signal integrity analysis.
- Generate fabrication and assembly files for manufacturing.
- Implement design changes and resolve any issues during prototyping, fabrication, and production stages.
- Stay current with the latest PCB design trends and technologies.
- Assist in the development of test procedures for validation of electronic functionality.
Essential Skills
- PCB layout and circuit board design.
- Proficiency with Altium.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (EE, EET, or similar). An associate degree may be considered if the candidate has 15 years of experience.
- 5 years of experience with PCB Layout and Circuit Card Design.
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
- Ability to create schematics and perform signal integrity analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Full lifecycle development experience.
- Experience with Zuken.
- Previous DoD industry experience.
Work Environment
This role requires working in the office 4 days a week.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
