Job Title: Hardware Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Hardware Engineer to join our team. The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and verification of electrical and electronic hardware at both the system and board level. This includes requirements development, system high-level design, component selection, schematic design, ASIC & FPGA design, connector and harness design, circuit analysis and simulation, board bring-up and verification, and drawing release and maintenance while working in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design the physical aspects of devices that interact with software, including PCBs and board layout/design.
• Perform requirements decomposition, design calculations, component selection, and sourcing.  
• Create sub-system schematics using tools such as Altium and Mentor Graphics.
• Conduct basic circuit analysis and simulation.
• Perform board bring-up, testing, and debugging in a lab environment using tools such as oscilloscopes and signal
• generators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in hardware design and development.
• Proficiency in using design tools such as Altium, Mentor Graphics, and simulation tools.  
• Strong understanding of circuit analysis, PCB design, and hardware testing.    
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $100000.00

Hybrid Schedule: Required 3 days a week in the office (core - Tu, W, Th) - preference is 4 days
Tteam consists of around 20 engineers between Hardware and Software
Will also interact with the Mechanical and Application teams

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Louis,MO.
